Introducing the 2018 Toyota Camry

If the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry were the Toyota Motor Corporation’s only new Toyota vehicle next year, the Japanese carmaker would still be having a very good year. The Toyota Camry leads car sales year in and year out, and the upcoming model is the best we’ve seen at Keyes Toyota yet.

It’s redesigned inside and out. Far inside, in fact; it rides on the new TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform that will soon be the backbone of all new Toyota models. Since that platform, and the chassis of the 2018 Toyota Camry, are stiffer than before, expect improved handling and driving dynamics.

A bit closer to the surface, the interior is also redone. It features an asymmetrical dash that’s far more ergonomic than a first glance would suggest. The larger overall dimensions and improved cabin layout mean more space for you and your passengers, while the now-standard TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) suite keeps everyone safer.

TRD (Toyota Racing Development) is also getting involved in passenger car development for the first time, with a TRD-designed trim on the way. Expect its looks, performance, and feature set to learn lessons from past experience with NASCAR.

And that underlines something else. The Toyota Camry has been called many things, from “reliable” to, in one reviewer’s words, “bulletproof.” We can add another adjective to the list: attractive. All the performance, features, and power are now encased in a shell that’s exceptionally easy on the eyes.

We’re especially looking forward to the V6 engine-powered Toyota Camry XSE V6 Sport that adds more cylinders and horsepower than what you get from the other trims’ four-cylinder engines. Taken together with the rest of the improvements in the new model, it should be an absolute blast to drive.

The 2018 Toyota Camry arrives at your Los Angeles area Toyota dealership in a matter of weeks. For more information, visit Keyes Toyota today1
