Top 3 Commonly Replaced Toyota Parts

In order to keep your Toyota car running smoothly, it’s important to keep up with regular maintenance and perform repairs when it’s necessary. When maintenance and repairs are performed, often you’ll have to change out Toyota parts.

Here at Keyes Toyota, in addition to carrying the latest selection of new Toyota models, we also stock a wide selection of authentic OEM Toyota parts. These are the top three most commonly replaced Toyota parts.

Brake Pads  Every time you hit the brake pedal, the brake pads experience slightly more wear. As the brake pads wear, they will eventually get down the metal part and begin to make a screeching sound. You’ll want to make sure that the brake pads get replaced before that point, however, and this is something that the mechanics in our Toyota service center can do. Additionally, brake calipers and rotors need periodic replacement.

Battery

All batteries die at some point, whether it’s the battery for your television remote or your Toyota car. Your battery should be checked during your regular maintenance appointments at our dealership because the last thing that you want is a dead battery before you’re heading off to work in the morning. Typically, a car battery will last you five to six years before it needs to be replaced.

Spark Plugs

The spark plugs are located in your car’s engine, and they are what generate the spark that ignites the air and fuel mixture that powers the engine. Over time, the spark plugs tend to corrode and need to be replaced. If you fail to replace them, your Toyota car could misfire, which wastes fuel and compromises performance.
