Previewing the New 2021 Toyota Sienna
The 2021 Toyota Sienna is a small departure from previous iterations. For starters, you’ll get to choose from several different trim configurations which include the L, LE, XLE, XSE, Limited and Platinum.
One of the biggest changes to Toyota’s new family fan is the fact that all models will source their thrust from a hybrid powertrain. This hybrid powertrain is made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a set of electric motors that work together to provide 243 horsepower. While we don’t have official numbers yet, Toyota has already stated that this minivan will have a max towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
Inside, you’ll find more than enough room for eight, just like last year’s model. Although, you can expect an upgraded infotainment touchscreen which measures in at 9.0-inches and gets Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa compatibility as standard. An onboard Wi-Fi hotspot will also be available, as will a beefy 12-speaker audio system designed by JBL. Rear seat entertainment systems are an option on the high-end XSE trim, as is a bigger 11.6-inch infotainment display.

As to be expected in any modern Toyota brand vehicle, the Toyota Sienna gets a solid suite of safety features which include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warnings with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. As a result, driving the Toyota Sienna can be a rather stress-free experience.
